Logo design for House of Ghetto, a vogue house dance and arts group based in Manchester. Commissioned by House of Ghetto house mother and award-winning dancer and choreographer, Darren Pritchard.
In 2019, the House of Ghetto arrive to our cinema screens in the documentary Deep In Vogue. Deep In Vogue celebrates the colourful, queer, emotional and political stories of Northern Vogue and its people. See the trailer below (and look out for the logo in the film!). Directed by Dennis Keiron-Foster and Amy Watson.
THE DESIGN
The design is features our ‘African Queen’, dressed for the ball with her giant ‘G’ earring. The type treatment is punchy and bold, strong and powerful, just like the dancers in the House of Ghetto.
